ABS is a thermoplastic engineering plastic made by polymerizing three monomers:

Comprehensive highlights of ABS:
1. Excellent comprehensive mechanical performance, good rigidity, not easily deformed, and sufficient toughness. Its impact resistance is far superior to PP and PS, and it is not easy to crack during daily use.
2. The surface glossiness is extremely high, and the appearance is delicate, easy to color, spray, and electroplate. The products produced have high aesthetic value and a texture close to high-end shells.

Disadvantages of ABS:
1. Weather resistance: Ordinary ABS is generally resistant to ultraviolet rays and is prone to aging, yellowing, and brittleness outdoors. Therefore, UV resistance modification is necessary for outdoor use.
2. Poor transparency. Conventional ABS is opaque, and only PC or PMMA can be used for transparent parts.
3. High temperature resistance, limited long-term use temperature of about 70-90 ℃, high temperature environment is prone to softening and deformation.
4. It is not resistant to strong solvents and is prone to cracking and corrosion when encountering ester and ketone solvents.
5. Low temperature toughness generally decreases in extreme cold environments, and cold resistant products should use cold resistant ABS.
